Vincenzo’s Pizza’s is an affordable and delicious pizza restaurant. Customers can enjoy a classic cheese pizza or choose from the establishment’s selection of Sicilian pizza.

Vincenzo’s is a fairly new restaurant on Sacramento and 52nd, opening in late 2022. It replaced the well-known Hogan’s Goat, a pizza place that permanently closed. As someone who lives close by, I was excited to hear about a different place going in.

The interior of the restaurant is honestly one of my favorite aspects of Vincenzo’s. I love the feel of the small, comfortable dining areas. The furniture felt very vintage, which I loved. Vincenzo’s official website words it better than I can, reading “we want the customer to feel like they’ve stumbled into that local hidden spot that reflects the energy and goodness of the local neighborhood joint.” It seriously feels like a secret little gem of a restaurant since it’s almost tucked away from the main street of Sandy.

Food wise, this restaurant is easily a new favorite spot of mine. Pricing is manageable, ranging from 10 to 20 dollars for an average meal. Their regular cheese pizza is 13 to 15 dollars depending on whether you get the 12” or 18” pie, and their specialty Sicilian pizza is more expensive, ranging from 20 to 25 dollars depending on toppings. I definitely recommend their Sicilian; the pricing is so worth the amazing quality of the food, and the toppings are fresh and full of flavor. My favorite toppings are pepperoni, mushrooms, basil, ricotta and banana peppers.

Another option I recommend for food is their strombolis, especially the ham and cheese. They were piping hot and delicious, with pricing ranging from 15 to 24 dollars, again depending on toppings.

A sweet surprise was seeing the option to order Italian sodas on the menu. I was excited and immediately added the strawberry flavor to my order. It was the perfect addition to my meal and was just the right amount of sweetness for its size.

Adding even more to my experience, the employees were so kind. It was a very friendly environment and the workers were very sweet, making friendly jokes and checking up on us as we were dining.

If you’re looking for an affordable spot to eat, I’d definitely recommend trying Vincenzo’s out!
