The McDaniel Newspaper is fostering a community for considerate and inclusive dialogue. We welcome your thoughts and perspective, but there are some guidelines that you should follow when making a comment on any of the publications we put out. We moderate comments based on the following criteria.
1. We want you to share your opinion and your background. Your experience and insight is extremely valuable to us as we provide news and other content for the McDaniel community and beyond.
2. The best comments don’t generalize or diminish groups of people. For example if a comment says "everyone on the left" or "everyone on the right" it does a poor job at facilitating productive conversation.
3. Any comments that demean or discredit anyone based on gender, race, class, ethnicity, political beliefs, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, pregnancy status, physical and mental ability or other classifications will NOT be posted.
