The Oracle

Letter to the Editor: Games & Comics, Issue 2

Dear Editor:

The games and comics in the Oracle have been a delight to read and play. I find them enjoyable every time I open the Oracle. The comics have stunning art by talented individuals, and the games have been fine. I appreciate the work that goes into them.

However, I have found the games becoming repetitive over time as I’ve opened the Oracle. They’re not bad, but after a few word searches, I now prefer more comics taking up the space of the games. I suggest other games other than word search; perhaps switch it up a little with maybe a maze, scramble letters, or even sudoku.

In all honesty, I prefer comics to games, so maybe there is some bias in my opinion. By now, I’ve completely skipped the word searches and just read the comics. They’re more interesting to look at visually and are funny.

Again, I appreciate the work that goes into the Oracle; I just find the games to be boring now. You don’t have to take my opinion seriously; I just wanted to give you my opinion. Thank you for all your hard work. I hope to see more future editions of the Oracle.

Sincerely,

Michael Nguyen

We welcome your thoughts and perspective, but there are some guidelines that you should follow when making a comment on any of the publications we put out. We moderate comments based on the following criteria. 1. We want you to share your opinion and your background. Your experience and insight is extremely valuable to us as we provide news and other content for the McDaniel community and beyond. 2. The best comments don’t generalize or diminish groups of people. For example if a comment says "everyone on the left" or "everyone on the right" it does a poor job at facilitating productive conversation. 3.
