Ava Wilken is a junior who enjoys baking, reading, and the outdoors. She is a captain of the Varsity Football Cheer team, and a member of the Varsity girls golf program. Wilken enjoys writing feature and review stories for the McDaniel Oracle.

Emma Evans (She/Her) is a Senior at McDaniel. She is a Barista, Journaler, Roller Skater, and big Mazzy Star fan. She enjoys being part of the Oracle because it gives her a place to talk about things and topics that don't get enough attention.

Harvey Spindor (he/him) is a senior. He is returning as an artist at The Oracle and is to credit for designing the logo. He plans on not continuing his previous comic series and to actually plan a plot for this year's strip. He will get taller.

Emma (she/her) is a junior who loves playing bass, David Bowie, and sharks. She is currently a photographer for the Oracle and likes being on staff because of the community and camera work.

Wanying Liu is a senior at McDaniel. In her free time, she enjoys fighting invasive plants, reading webcomics, and drawing. She is excited to explore the community through journalism in the Oracle this year!

Katelyn Phan (she/her) is a sophomore who loves fan dancing, spending time with loved ones and watching reality TV. She's currently a reporter for the Oracle and her favorite part is being able to express herself and others through writing.

Anastasia Espinoza is a freshman at McDaniel high school. She likes baking, going on walks, and crafts. She does Jiu Jitsu and likes how it's helped her become more disciplined. Her favorite part of journalism is interviewing people and hearing their perspectives.

Brylee Scott (she/her) is a freshman who enjoys playing softball, styling hair, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a reporter who is excited to express her voice through her writing.

Lucia Ceballos is a senior; she plays the cello, does crafts, and spends time with her friends in her free time. She is new to the newspaper program at her school and is one of the ad managers and the business manager for the Oracle. So far, she loves to be a part of the community and is excited for the year!

Ricardo Tuz Aviles is a 17 year old photographer, he is our photo manager for the oracle, outside of the newspaper he loves photography and baseball and he is excited to cover sports and news ...

Mezmur Lapour (she/her)is a senior at McDaniel High School who enjoys traveling, baking, and hanging out with her friends. She is an Ad Manager for the newspaper program at McDaniel, and is looking forward to all the new experiences and getting the chance to involve herself more in the community.

Liv Fetters is a senior at McDaniel, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and going for a quick trip to the mountain to snowboard. She's  most excited to get to learn the different roles in newspapers and hanging out with the class. as well as her own role as an ad manager.

Mia enjoys playing sports, painting, listening to music, and hanging out with friends whenever she can. She is an advertising manager for the Oracle program, and she is excited for her first year with newspaper.

Veda Gordon (she/her) is a Junior who loves volunteering and hanging out with her friends. As an Associate editor on the Newspaper, she plans to help support everyone and fill in any role. ...

Eban Slate (He/Him) is a senior who loves photography, running, Ultimate and music. You’ll find him at school events, on a run, or running after discs. He joined the newspaper to provide new perspectives on relevant topics and to provide quality media for stories.

Jack McManus (he/him) is a senior that enjoys playing basketball and mountain biking. He chose to be on staff because he likes contributing to a team.

Aria Peters (she/her) is a senior who loves going to concerts and being with her friends. As the editor-in-chief, Aria is looking forward to supporting all staff members and making each issue better than the last one!
