Black History Month assembly represents cultural appreciation

Senior Lattii Johnson, freshman Xavier Cowley and senior Ny’Ecia Wynn announce the start of this year's Black History Month assembly that took place on Feb. 21. They begin by asking for a moment of silence to honor special education teacher Arlene Marshall who passed away last November.

Cook & Bake club celebrates dough-lightful Lunar New Year

Greenware pots and bowls sit on a shelf. After these dry out for a few days, they will be loaded into a kiln to be fired into bisqueware. Then they are glazed and put into a glazeware firing, which is usually the last step in the creation of ceramics.
