Blooming into April events
We’re now currently two and a half months away from summer, so if you’re looking for something to do in the time being, then you’ve come to the right place.
Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival
Starting off with an event that’s been going on since Mar. 24, we have the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Flowers and other plants will be blooming and will be seen in beautiful forms and colors. For more information, check out their website at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.
The event will last until the end of April, located at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. There’s no better time than now to go check out the stunning flowers blooming!
Portland Mercury’s Pizza Week
For the week of April 17-23, Portland’s best pizza shops will be offering their delicacies for an extremely low price. Formerly named The Portland Mercury’s Pizza Week, there will be slices going for $3 and whole pies for $20.
Keep posted with the locations on the Portland Pizza Week 2023 website. Spots vary daily.
Earth Day
If you have plenty of free time on your hands, Earth Day is a great opportunity to make a change, no matter your age. On Apr. 22, there will be 70+ opportunities for you to help clean up our city.
For dates and times, check out SOLVE website.
The One Moto Show
Hosting thousands of motorcyclists and motor-enthusiasts from all around the world, the One Moto Show will celebrate its 14th anniversary from Apr. 28-30. There will be more than 300 custom-built motorcycles, and you might even get lucky enough to ride them!

Hopefully these ideas give you something to do during the first full month of spring, though you could always go with the classics: hikes, cherry blossom viewing and Easter along with other religious festivities as well.
